About Attorney Ken Lewis
Attorney Kenneth J. Lewis, born in Jamestown, NY, in 1964, has built a life and career marked by dedication, resilience, and service. As the eldest of four siblings, Ken has always been committed to his family, a value that has influenced both his personal and professional life.
After graduating high school, Ken answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. During his time as a Marine, Ken served as an Air Traffic Controller and was deployed to Japan and South Korea. His experience in the Marines instilled in him the values of discipline, honor, and a tireless commitment to excellence—qualities that have shaped his approach to law and life.
Following his military service, Ken transitioned to civilian life, pursuing higher education at the Georgia Institute of Technology. During a break from his studies, Ken founded Volution, a successful bearing manufacturing business based in Statham, Georgia with clients all over the globe. Despite his entrepreneurial success, Ken felt a calling to serve others through law. He returned to academia in 2006, completing his degree at the University of North Georgia before earning his law degree from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School in 2011. While at law school, Ken co-edited the Law Review and had his work published in prestigious law journals, further highlighting his commitment to scholarly excellence.
Since establishing his legal practice in Winder, GA, Ken has become a trusted advocate for individuals throughout north Georgia, focusing on personal injury law. As a solo practitioner, he combines his business acumen, legal expertise, and military values to fight for justice on behalf of his clients. Ken has achieved significant success in the courtroom, securing jury trial verdicts exceeding $3 million and recovering millions more in settlements for his clients. His legal career has been defined by his unwavering dedication to helping those in need, a reflection of his deep commitment to his community.
Beyond his legal practice, Ken remains active in various service endeavors. An IFR pilot, Ken has participated in Angel Flight, an organization that helps transport patients to medical appointments across the country. His love of motorcycles has also led him to volunteer as a "crossing guard" for breast cancer walks alongside his fellow bikers, demonstrating his passion for giving back to the community.
Today, Ken is surrounded by his family in Winder and throughout north Georgia, where he remains a devoted father to his four sons and a pillar of support to his parents, siblings, nieces, and nephews. Whether in the courtroom or the community, Ken continues to embody the principles he learned as a Marine—honor, integrity, and service to others.
